Explaining the lifestyle to family

I was just curious.  Has anyone ever had to explain their lifestyle to their children, or parents?   How did you explain it?  What was their reaction?

Male Chastity

Its been a few weeks since my last post and I felt this was a story that warranted discussion.  The other day a close friend of mine had some questions about male chastity.  Full disclosure: He knows about my lifestyle, he is married but is not in a Female led relationship, nor is a bull.  He considers himself and average Joe.  It took me awhile to open up to him about being in a chastity device.  Its not because I am ashamed, its because I felt he wouldn't be able to understand why.  I told him awhile back, he brushed it off, but the other day he brought it up again
    Why? He asked me.  "I just don't get it" he said    I tried to explain to him that it was my wife's choice to put me in chastity to curb my constant jerking off since being cucked.   I explained how now my focus is on her pleasure not mine.  Yes I could break the lock, but I choose not to.  I need to show her the devotion she needs to see from me.
   I continued my reasoning, but I think it just went over his head.   Everything I said makes perfect sense to a cuckold, but falls on deaf ears to someone outside the lifestyle.  Has anyone else tried to explain things they do to please their wife to someone outside the lifestyle?
